Two hours, several... read more manatees later, he met us and picked up the kayaks. Easy peasy! Great location, free parking, excellent kayaking and yes there were manatees! Thanks Phil!   Had a great time, had 2 mullet jump on me. The kayaks look like they had lights underneath it was so lit up.

  My wife was in a single person kayak and my daughter and I were in a tandem..... we had a blast exploring Indian River and the large Reclaim island... read more ..... there was a pod of dolphin around us feeding on small fish.... they went right past us on several times providing an up close look at these beautiful mammals.... the manatee were in the lagoon and out in the open..... our guide provided us with a wealth of information about the area and the various jellyfish, horseshoe crab and snails we encountered. Really a great time !!!!

Our guide was very informative and kept things interesting for our small group of three. Would do this again in a heartbeat! Just wish I had a camera capable of taking low-light pictures. Being something better than a standard cell phone if you want good photos. Arrangements easy to make, with the operator letting us know about conditions (which were excellent, even this late in the year) prior to reserving.

  I have traveled to Port Canaveral area the past three years and have booked Calypso Kayaking all three years for their bioluminescence tour and it’s time to give credit where... read more credit is due. For one, this company is full of honesty and integrity. When the plankton bio is not very good, they let you know, even though other companies are still booking reservations, they don’t book reservations pretending that it is good. The first time I went I was blessed to know what good Bio looks like, so I am glad they are so honest about it. Bioluminescence Plankton is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. And let’s be honest kayaking at night is relaxing, especially with the cool breeze and The clear skies! The second time I booked, the weather was awful and they were so good about giving us options for our cancellation. The third time we booked something new (comb jellies) because they told us the bio wasn’t good right now. It was a great back up tour, we even saw a little bio! The staff are always friendly, I have called multiple times probably spoke to the same guy (his voice sounded the same) sorry I didn’t catch his name but he was always very informative and friendly! Our tour guide Mark (although to us was known as Alex, cuz that’s what the text message said even though he did provide solid proof his name was Mark) and he was wonderful. If you get stuck on a tour with him be prepared to laugh (or cringe) because he is full of dad jokes to keep the tour entertaining and it absolutely did! It was basically a three in one tour because we got to hear the manatees right where we launched from! (Comb Jellies, Bio Plankton and manatees, Four in one if you count the comedic portion) Thank you again Calypso Kayaking Tours! We will see you next year! Trying to get another amazing Bio tour in!! Recommend this company to anyone traveling to the Titusville, Port Canaveral and cocoa beach area and looking for something to do!

  I would definitely suggest not wasting your time if you have kids with you. It says kid friendly but was not. We didn't kayak as fast as the others in... read more our group that had two adults rowing so he told us they can't wait for us and to go back. So we had to try to turn around going against the waves all by ourselves while they went on ahead. We were not pleased to say the least. Would not recommend with kids. They did refund us though.

When we went last month when in town we saw atleast a dozen Manatees and then went out onto the river and had 5 dolphins swimming along with us as we kayaked, it was amazing!! Cannot wait to go again. The owner himself took us out last time and his son had taken us out another time. They are so knowledgeable and respectful of the area and the wildlife that resides there. We have been very impressed every single time!!
