  The equipment was fine. Check-in was easy and very casual as the attendance left after they gave us instructions how to get the kayak and lifejackets ready for lunch. Little... read more instruction on where to go, what to avoid, you just hit the water and go. We took a tandem, and like I said the equipment was acceptable. Nothing fancy about this place. There were no restrooms, you had to go down to the park facility. No place to lock up car keys, etc. so if you go come prepared with a dry bag.

Then he tells us the time is changed and we are an hour early. He says that tripadvisor has wrong time. He then let's a group pay cash for only $40 each. We paid $55. I asked why. He tells me trip advisor adds 25percent to his fees and no taxes. Seems very shady. When asked he gets very defensive. Does not offer anything and blames on TripAdvisor. Staff seems scared of owner. He was by his truck smoking when I approached. Basically was not interested in helping me because he already had my $$. Did not even apologize. Just blamed tripadvisor. Tour was disorganized and our guide did not give great communication. Half way thru the trip a woman and her son couldn't keep up. They left the group and went back. The leader told the other members of that party in front of us. Almost talking down to the husband of the wife. Very unprofessional. There are a lot of other companies offering this excursion. Alot are cheaper. You are better off trying them for the same experience. …

We did get to see a couple of dolphins outside of the cove, along with other wildlife and sea creatures. We got to see the manatees inside the cove. We all enjoyed ourselves.

They swam right up next... read more to us and under us, blew a little water into us, showed us their noses, and let us touch them. We then saw several dolphins in the waterway, plus a variety of birds. Such a great time. Totally worth it. Mark have us a lot of interesting information and was knowledgeable. Be prepared to paddle...you will get a workout. Bring LOTS of water and sunscreen!

  I have traveled to Port Canaveral area the past three years and have booked Calypso Kayaking all three years for their bioluminescence tour and it’s time to give credit where... read more credit is due. For one, this company is full of honesty and integrity. When the plankton bio is not very good, they let you know, even though other companies are still booking reservations, they don’t book reservations pretending that it is good. The first time I went I was blessed to know what good Bio looks like, so I am glad they are so honest about it. Bioluminescence Plankton is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. And let’s be honest kayaking at night is relaxing, especially with the cool breeze and The clear skies! The second time I booked, the weather was awful and they were so good about giving us options for our cancellation. The third time we booked something new (comb jellies) because they told us the bio wasn’t good right now. It was a great back up tour, we even saw a little bio! The staff are always friendly, I have called multiple times probably spoke to the same guy (his voice sounded the same) sorry I didn’t catch his name but he was always very informative and friendly! Our tour guide Mark (although to us was known as Alex, cuz that’s what the text message said even though he did provide solid proof his name was Mark) and he was wonderful. If you get stuck on a tour with him be prepared to laugh (or cringe) because he is full of dad jokes to keep the tour entertaining and it absolutely did! It was basically a three in one tour because we got to hear the manatees right where we launched from! (Comb Jellies, Bio Plankton and manatees, Four in one if you count the comedic portion) Thank you again Calypso Kayaking Tours! We will see you next year! Trying to get another amazing Bio tour in!! Recommend this company to anyone traveling to the Titusville, Port Canaveral and cocoa beach area and looking for something to do!

We kayaked right next to one manatee, and three dolphins. We also saw many horseshoe crab, many beautiful birds and so many fish jumping. It was a day we won’t forget. So worth the money!
