Children had fun kayaking and said it was like exploring "uncharted" waters. This was an unforgettable experience for everyone to treasure and remember.

We had planned to see the rocket launch but it got scrubbed so we kayaked out of manatee bay instead.

Had a little surprise, my daughter was paddling in front of me and flung a pufferfish right into the kayak and it landed right between my legs! Being dark and not being able to see what it was yes I almost went straight into the water, Alex and my daughter found quite comedy in it while I was having a slight panic attack haha once we got over the fear of being on the water after dark we were able to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature, all the animals that live amongst the forest around us and get to know our guide a bit.   First time kayakers - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, experienced, and patient with us. First time kayakers, it was a great experience. We saw dolphins, but experienced manatees up close and personal.

  I have traveled to Port Canaveral area the past three years and have booked Calypso Kayaking all three years for their bioluminescence tour and it’s time to give credit where... read more credit is due. For one, this company is full of honesty and integrity. When the plankton bio is not very good, they let you know, even though other companies are still booking reservations, they don’t book reservations pretending that it is good. The first time I went I was blessed to know what good Bio looks like, so I am glad they are so honest about it. Bioluminescence Plankton is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. And let’s be honest kayaking at night is relaxing, especially with the cool breeze and The clear skies! The second time I booked, the weather was awful and they were so good about giving us options for our cancellation. The third time we booked something new (comb jellies) because they told us the bio wasn’t good right now. It was a great back up tour, we even saw a little bio! The staff are always friendly, I have called multiple times probably spoke to the same guy (his voice sounded the same) sorry I didn’t catch his name but he was always very informative and friendly! Our tour guide Mark (although to us was known as Alex, cuz that’s what the text message said even though he did provide solid proof his name was Mark) and he was wonderful. If you get stuck on a tour with him be prepared to laugh (or cringe) because he is full of dad jokes to keep the tour entertaining and it absolutely did! It was basically a three in one tour because we got to hear the manatees right where we launched from! (Comb Jellies, Bio Plankton and manatees, Four in one if you count the comedic portion) Thank you again Calypso Kayaking Tours! We will see you next year! Trying to get another amazing Bio tour in!! Our rescheduled tour was during the afternoon as late... read more afternoon showers were in the forecast. Guide was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of great information. We did get to see a couple of dolphins outside of the cove, along with other wildlife and sea creatures. We got to see the manatees inside the cove. We all enjoyed ourselves.
