Our guide was very informative and kept things interesting for our small group of three. Would do this again in a heartbeat! Just wish I had a camera capable of taking low-light pictures. Being something better than a standard cell phone if you want good photos. Arrangements easy to make, with the operator letting us know about conditions (which were excellent, even this late in the year) prior to reserving.

Highly recommend renting from Calypso, he was very accommodating and willing to meet us anywhere local to launch the kayaks. We had planned to see the rocket launch but it got scrubbed so we kayaked out of manatee bay instead.

Had a little surprise, my daughter was paddling in front of me and flung a pufferfish right into the kayak and it landed right between my legs! Being dark and not being able to see what it was yes I almost went straight into the water, Alex and my daughter found quite comedy in it while I was having a slight panic attack haha once we got over the fear of being on the water after dark we were able to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature, all the animals that live amongst the forest around us and get to know our guide a bit. Was definitely an experience that’s for sure! Never a dull moment with us! Lol
