Highly recommend renting from Calypso, he was very accommodating and willing to meet us anywhere local to launch the kayaks. We had planned to see the rocket launch but it got scrubbed so we kayaked out of manatee bay instead.

We then saw several dolphins in the waterway, plus a variety of birds. Such a great time. Totally worth it. Mark have us a lot of interesting information and was knowledgeable. Be prepared to paddle...you will get a workout. Bring LOTS of water and sunscreen!

We did get to see a couple of dolphins outside of the cove, along with other wildlife and sea creatures. We got to see the manatees inside the cove. We all enjoyed ourselves.

He was very knowledgeable, good with the kids, and made our group feel safe out on the river. (We had a few who had never been on a kayak before.)   Did a Bio-luminescence kayak trip one September night. I thought it was going to be lame and did not believe the pics seen on line. I do not have any... read more pics but it was incredible. Every movement of water lit up bright blue. The fish swimming around lit the water up, paddling, and the movement of the kayak lit it all up. The blue lights are not only on the surface but thru the depth of the water. If you could ever get the chance you have to do it. I only wish my wife was kayaking with me that night.

  An Experience to Remember! - I went as part of a group of teachers who were at Kennedy Space Center for the week. We booked a 7-10 kayaking tour, and it did not disappoint!... read more Getting into the clear kayaks, we saw manatees and mangroves. After some quick instructions the guide led us out to a small island for an ecotour. We found horseshoe crabs, stingrays, small fish, crabs, snails, and even a comb jellyfish. It was amazing and our guide encouraged us to wander and look at the flora and fauna of the area as he gave info and answered questions. After the sunset, we paddled through a small canal and were able to see the bioluminescence while we paddled. The blue water was beautiful! I would highly recommend this tour.

We met Jared for the 9pm tour and were out... read more for 90 glorious minutes in the beautiful night and warm waters complete with jumping fish and distant lightning (it was a long way away but was spectacular!) Jared knew exactly where to go and was super knowledgeable about the area and the natural features, obviously including the amazing glowing plankton. Would highly recommend this tour and we will also be back in September with friends!!
